Not surprisingly, his over 2 decades of experience is second to none, and speak volumes especially when it involves his expertise in Marine, Non-Motor and Motor Claims.
Noted for his successful handling and execution of numerous claims that dominated newspaper headlines recently involving public and commercial claims, Nelson has cemented the organization’s foundation, and built a vast support system with strong connections in the industry, with shipping agents and brokers and other authorities, to ensure the expeditious completion of any investigation

A master mariner by profession and one who has experienced practically every class and type of vessel from General Cargo (Freedom Class), Container Vessel, Bulk Carriers to Tankers, Capt. Guna has seen it all.
After leaving the shipping industry in 2002, Capt. Guna was introduced to the Marine Inspection Industry where he is now handling all kinds of cargo, including the responsibilities of Port Captain and Mooring Master jobs.
From cargo inspections, he then moved to P&I Club Investigations, Insurance Investigations and Marine Warranty Surveys. Capt. Guna has been working with numerous companies and logistic service providers such as;

Wan Mohd Amir have been trained to adapt to any circumstances or job and thanks to his 19 years of working experience in marine industry. He began his career as navigating deck officer with MISC Berhad aboard an LNG carriers. Afterward, in 2011, he was given the opportunity to join the conversion team for the first LNG Floating Storage Unit in Keppel Shipyard Benoi and later commissioned the unit in Sungai Udang LNG Regasification Terminal. He then sailed onboard Offshore Support Vessel in 2015 before accepting for an onshore employment as Designated Person Ashore (DPA) in 2016. He was then offered a position of Operation Manager in 2019 to manage the company’s and its vessel’s operational issue.
In MIMC, he was appointed as Manager- Hull & Machinery where he involved in various marine inspections including P&I and H&M Loss prevention survey for several insurers such as MMIA, QBE and PNI Malaysia. He is also actively involved in insurer-assigned claim and responsible for a variety of marine insurance claim including Goods in Transit (GIT) and Marine Open Cover (MOC) for insurers like AXA Affin, AmGeneral Insurance, Lonpac, Etiqa General Insurance and many more.
Haji Mohamat Nor Bin Ali
General Manager Southern Operation- Marine
Mohamat Nor begins his career as a Laboratory Supervisor with Felda Oil Mill in Pahang and thereafter with palm oil refineries in Johor and Selangor until 1982. During the country’s economic downturn in early 1980’s, he then moved his career into cargo/marine survey to explore new challenges.
He was employed by Industrial Marine Inspection Sdn. Bhd. from 1983 to 1985 as a Cargo Surveyor; handling mainly liquid petroleum products at Kerteh Terminal & Terengganu offshore under Petronas & EPMI contracts. He was later transferred to East Malaysia i.e. Bintulu, Miri & Labuan under Petronas & Shell Malaysia contract as Marine Surveyor. He later joined Caleb Brett (M) Sdn. Bhd. From 1986 to 1991 as a Marine Supervisor based in Port Klang and was later transferred to Pasir Gudang, Johor. In 1993, he joined as an Assistant Manager.
With his exceptional skills in the marine sector coupled with his commitment and dedication, he was promoted to General Manager in 2010 and had successfully turned the company into a profitable venture with expanded activities and operations.
In 2020, he was appointed as General Manager – Marine Operations at Malayan International Marine Consultants Sdn Bhd overseeing the Southern Marine Operations.
Lim Teck Sin
General Manager Southern Operation- Marine
Mr. Lim Teck Sin begins his career at sea in 1985 with Malaysia and Singapore registered home trade vessels plying on ASEAN waters. His final rank onboard was as a Chief Officer.
He then pursues his career ashore in 1995 as a Marine Surveyor with Links Survey (M) Sdn Bhd. During his tenure, he handled various marine assignments which includes Hull and Machinery assignments, Protection and Indemnity Club (P&I) investigations and numerous marine technical assignments. With his professional skills and seafaring experience, he successfully started the Miri branch and managed it with profitable returns for the firm.
In 2013, his talent was recognized by some foreign investors and was recruited to head their shipping firm in United Arab Emirates and later in Indonesia overseeing daily routine shipping activities and regulatory requirements.
He is currently engaged at Malayan International Marine Consultants Sdn Bhd, as Manager – Marine Operations responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Marine Division for Sarawak.
